Customer Review: Mastering Digital SLR Photography 2E by David D. Busch
I am new to the digital D-SLR world and moving from point and shoot to composing my own picture. Searching for all books that can help me in this process and this book is certainly one of the best I’ve read. It’s easy to read and even provides some chuckles. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars for what information I’m looking for.

Customer Review: Missing aspects I was looking for.
After doing lots of reading from investing books, I wanted to learn more about the REIT asset class of investments. This book had some good information, but the main information I was looking for was how taxes are reported and why they are fairly complicated. The author only gave a two page appendix on taxes. I felt like he spent way too much time on why you should invest in REIT’s and the aspects of when to buy and what to look for individual REIT’s and not the big picture of owning REIT’s in an mutual fund or REIT index fund. I was more concerned on how taxes affect your investment’s location (Taxable vs. Tax Advantaged) and that was totally ignored. Dissapointed.
Customer Review: Great intro to REITS
Great book for someone trying to get a basic understanding of REITs written from an investor’s perspective.

Skunk Works: A Personal Memoir of My Years of Lockheed

Skunk Works: A Personal Memoir of My Years of Lockheed Customer Review: Great book on a legendary company
This book is based as an (auto)biography of Ben Rich the boss of the legendary Lockheed “Skunkworks”. It is a lot more than that however with an overview of secret ‘black-ops’ of the cold war period. The development of the U2 and SR-71 as well as an in depth introduction to the F117 Stealth fighter make this a must have book for the technophile. But it is more than that, there are great snippets from ‘other voices’ such as engineers, pilots and even the military have their say about the Skunk works and in particular its enigmatic founder Clarence “Kelly” Johnson.

Customer Review: A complex topic well done
It isn’t easy to write a book about investing in commodities—the topic can seem simple but can quickly become quite complex. The authors have done a very good job. My only criticism is that I would have liked to have seen more on ETFs and strategies for trading commodities (collars, swaps, etc). But it is probably best that the authors kept it simple enough to inform without causing confusion. It makes an excellent desk reference for someone wishing to learn more about commodities.
Customer Review: A good basic primer
It’s a good fundamental primer on most of the products in the commodities markets, discussing the supply and demand characteristics of the underlying products. It doesn’t spend much time on trading or technical characteristics – the book is clearly aimed at introducing traders to the products they’re actually trading, to the extent traders find that necessary. Useful discussion of energy products, crack spreads, as well as ethanol and agricultural products.
